I have too many irons in the fire, and nothing is getting done well, so I’m going back to my roots in the outdoors. My writing will focus on two sites, rather than the six I’m currently floundering with.

Jeff Cooper has passed on.

Marc “Armed Liberal” Danziger remembers him over at Winds of Change.

All I can say is that like many of us, I was influenced by his writing. During my time as an Arizona Ranger, I tried to incorporate his shooting tips and his philosophy into my work and thinking, and found that both were improved as a result.

This is our first Carnival! There aren’t many articles, because I didn’t get the word out soon enough to give writers time to submit their work. I plan to do better next time!
